Loopmasters Ride 1000 Miles For Water Aid
Between June 28 and July 9th 2011, Matt Pelling, Director of Loopmasters, has decided to take on the UK End to End challenge, or JOGLE as its known (John O Groats to Lands End) - with only his ipod and bike for company.
The ride which will see him travel 1000 miles in around 10 days is to raise money for Water Aid, a charity who dedicate their operations to providing safe and sanitized water to the world’s most impoverished communities.
Loopmasters are sponsoring the ride and providing him with some of the equipment needed to complete the challenge and all proceeds from charitable donations will be going directly to the charity itself which claims that for £15 a year it can supply someone with all the water they need to survive.
When asked about the ride he commented:
"Although I’m really no cyclist, I hope this is a challenge which I hope is within my capabilities, but nevertheless I know there will be some moments when I would love to jump in a car and go home! I’m looking forward to seeing this beautiful country under my own steam. And when it's over I'm hoping that I can be proud to have helped people less fortunate than myself in other countries who deserve the most basic of life's necessities"
Matt is hoping that some of Loopmasters customers and friends will find a small amount to make a donation to the cause which can be made at www.justgiving.com/mattp2011. Matt has also said that any Loopmasters customers who make a donation and email the receipt to him at matt [at] loopmasters.com will receive an exclusive and 100% unreleased 200+Mb sample pack link when he gets back at the end of July.
So what are you waiting for guys - do something to help those less fortunate than yourself AND get a free exclusive and unreleased sample pack into the bargain!!
We will keep you updated on Matts progress over the next couple of weeks - and wish him all the best.
