5/5 from CM for DBL!
The only thing wrong with this collection of samples, REX loops and Reason patches is the name – we found it neither downbeat nor leftfield! Although it would certainly be great for either of those genres, the sounds and loops on offer are perfect for anything from hip-hop to house.
Seriously, whatever genre you make, there is something here for you. The production values range from processed to natural and the influences cross cultural orders and oceans in a single bound, but the thing that makes this collection so clever and coherent is the vibe.
Even if you’re not the type to enjoy some herbal remedy from time to time, you’ll be glad that some people are when you load this collection.
