The title of this sample DVD is something of a misnomer; rather than featuring a multitude of classic dance synths, all the samples are from the Access Virus. Happily, the Virus is an extremely versatile bit of kit, and the sounds on offer showcase it’s ability to mimic the majority of the classic synths.
You get a whopping 316 multisampled patches, making this an excellent choice if you’re looking for a quick fix of new pads, leads and basses.

Collection of over 300 clasic pads, leads, basses and hits from an access virus ready to be loaded into your sampler of choice, plus 1,150 Wav files. Formats include Kontakt, EXS24, Halion, Akai, VSampler, NNXT, Giga and Wav.
Any Good?
We all know how much of a classic the Virus is and how many popyular tracks it has reared its head in. This extensive collection offers a diverse journey through tehmany varied sounds that the beast can offer.
There's a plethora of lucious pads, fat-as-you-like basses, and searing leads for you to experiment with (over 1,100 samples in total), plus additional bonus sampler patches that can simply be dropped into your sampler of choice quickly and easily. Great sounds, and a great price too.
Verdict: A diverse and wide ranging set of sounds that could well become a sampling staple.
