Funk Guitars Reviewed at Computer Music Mag
This bite-sized selection of 133 funky guitar and bass loops courtesy of Rob Humphreys might not exactly be overflowing with content, but it scores over similar collections thanks to the inspired use of effects and some great playing. Rather than regurgitating the same loops over and over, Funk Guitars has some interesting ideas up its sleeve, including loops that utilise extreme processing without losing their funky edge.
The loops range from 90 to 130 BPM and can, of course, be tempo-adjusted with ease, thanks to the Acidized WAV and REX2 formatting. If you’d like to funk up your tracks without investing in a larger library, this one comes recommended.
