Hip Hop Progressions review from CM
Hip-hop is a genre that's been fully exploited by sample CD producers down the years, but Loopmasters clearly feel that there's room in the market for another title.
It's good to find plenty of live drum loops among the programmed beats, and there are single hits, too. Also look out for fulsome basses, a varied range of guitars and a selection of keyboards. As well as the loops, you get lots of sampler patches.
Hip Hop Progressions differs from some of its over-produced peers in that it feels quite rough and ready. In our book, being less commercial gives it the edge.
