Nick Thayer Breaks Producer Reviewed By Computer Music
Producer Thayer’s sample library debut is a promising affair that brings together drum hits, effects, vocals, multisamples and loops into one of the better breaks-centric sound collections we’ve encountered. The only downside is that most of the loops aren’t complete beats – mostly they just feature a rhythm played with one or two sounds, which is disappointing when the rest of the library is so good. Still, the musical and bass grooves are inspirational and you get plenty of one-shots to make your own beats. A good value library for the more banging, mid-tempo dance styles.
