Jon Carter & Alex Blanco : Block Party Essentials - Review by Computer Music

Breaks, ragga, hip-hop, grime, dubstep – the list of influences this pack cites is immense!  There’s bass, synths, FX, drums, some odd vocal samples and more, amounting to over 650 MB of content.

Like many of the Loopmasters packs, this feels like a great collection of raw material, rather than totally polished samples you can drag and drop.  We would have liked a bit more punch and power, especially in some of the drum loops, but if you’re a fan of beats, bass and strange honking noises, you’ll find plenty to fuel your tracks here.

Verdict: 7/10
