After big releases on Cocoon and support from the king of techno Richie Hawtin, Lucio Aquilina releases this sample pack full of quirky drum loops and wonky synth lines. While all the drum loops are intriguing, with all their unusual sounds and atmospheres some may find that they are caked in too much reverb, making them difficult to blend them with your own composition. Other than this, the sample pack is full of useful tools – especially the percussion loops, which blend easily into the mix, without much adjustment. There’s also plenty of individual hits and chord stabs to keep you busy. This one is perfect for those that like to inject a little bit of melody into their techno mix
