Wusik Review: Alien Robot Vox
A 354 MB collection of vocoded loops from Loopmasters, Alien Robot Vox is one fun sample pack to audition and to use in any electronic genre music. Split into categories such as Vocoded Loops, Android, Robot Talk, Cosmic Bot loops, One Shots, Vocoded Drum and Synths, Alien Robot Vox from Loopmasters focuses on loops that emulate the sounds and style of Kraftwerk, Daft Punk and Air. This collection includes over 250 loops in Acidized WAV and 210 REX files that were recorded in tempos between 90 and 126BPM. A separate Apple Loops pack is also available for purchase.
The selection of vocoded voices are well presented here but this sample pack also covers some nice vocoded drums and synth lines, which to me are very useful as fills or additional parts for any section of a song. You can always make DIY vocoded loops with the right source audio and vocoder effect plug-in but for quick and easy vocoded effects, phrases and sounds Alien Robot Vox is a good alternative.
