I like this one even better than the trance one as house is more my cup of tea. There’s a good and a bad side to that though - I was going to enjoy going through it more that the last one, (not that I didn’t enjoy the trance samples) but it would undoubtedly get a harsher going over as I know a lot more about house than I do about trance. Technically it’s the same as above, so mostly I’ll concentrate on what I thought of the quality of this sound set.
By now I knew (or hoped) not to expect a set of run of the mill funky guitar loops and ‘ooh baby, all night long’ female vocals. Like the other CD’s in this collection, the quantity of hits, loops and whatnot you get is vast, It’s value for money, in my opinion, but if you’re one for ready made, jigsaw puzzle, ‘slot all these together and you II have a tune’ type collections then this ain’t for you. You’Il need someone to help fill in the gaps. If on the other hand you like high quality tools to work with, pull apart, create from scratch and generally exercise your creative side with then yes I would recommend these to you. Besides I’m using them and I’m a fussy bastard at the best of times.)
Here’s a little run down of what you get on this on: 350 drum loops at 115/120/125 and 130 bpm settings; seven kits worth of individual drum hits; Over 6O WAV and (mostly) bass Ioops split into the tempo groups; 29 SFX patches for use as single hits; and 41 guitar samples for use as hits. Although that is not an exhaustive list - there are plenty more loops and phrases to go through!
