Future Music Review: Dutch Electro House
Ok. Time to get a little kerrazy. Laden with more bendy synths than you've had barmy nights out, this insane collection of beats and synths is like a textbook of cutting edge House. Part deep hollow kicks and old skool ravey drums and part 'car alarm goes mental' synthesizer, the package is a completed and glued together with some great vocal chops, banging metallic percussion and radio-tuning spot effects.
There's 8-bit crunch, and a sci-fi sound effects at every turn making a faultless collection – thanks to the inate wackiness throughout – rather limits its usability in any genre other than its target. That said, it nails the Dutch sound dead.
