iDJ review Elektro House Producer

Whether you find yourself in a bedroom or in a professional studio, there’s plenty here to keep you coming back for more. Most of the drum loops are the finished article ready to drop into your sequencer, so they’re ideal for the novice producer looking to slip easily into the electro sound for the first time, whereas the capable programmers who want to create their own distinct loops can pick out the best individual sounds from the single drum hits.

It’s a strong all-round collection, In fact the bass, chords and low pad lines are inspiring and varied enough to be used outside of electro-house and simply bring the feel to a different style.

With over 1,300 copyright- free samples, it’s a good job everything’s separated into folders. Within each group folder you’ll find they’re also in folders for each tempo (obviously sticking between 125-l30bpm). If you use a virtual sampler such as Halion, Stylus RMX or Kontakt, then you can also import the folder of prearranged patches. You also get an audio CD for easy auditioning straight out of the box.

As you expect from Loopmasters, the sound quality is excellent, with a subtle use of EQ and effects they’ve brought out the character of each sample, but there’s still room to apply your own signature to the sound.

Ultimately Elektro House Producer really does what it says on the tin, There’s much quality material here to inspire even the most jaded of producers, you’ll only struggle to decide which sample to use first!
