Wusik Review: Funk Drops
Groovilicious! From Drumdrops comes this collection of funky loops in Wav and Rex audio format. Funk Drops has all the beats to get you shakin', with pure 70's retro vibe and classic sound. This sample pack is comprised of 199 loops and 32 funk grooves totaling over just 400 MB. You get high quality samples that were recorded in LA's now-defunct Hollywood Sound Recording Studios using a 70's Neve console and analog tape machines. The vintage Ludwig and Gretsch were captured using vintage mics and classic outboard processors such as a Fairchild compressor and a Pultec EQ. The result is some slamming loops that sound old and new, because of their 24-bit format. There are 32 folders included in this pack and the samples have tempo information of 67-126 bpm. It's a good pack to be had for any style of music, really.
