Video tutoruals that demonstrates three different ways of chopping samples in Logic. 

This is especially useful for hip hop producers looking for a quick way to get sampling, with the cut while the audio plays function...much like you would with an MPC.

Step By Step Guide

Option 1

1. Select your audio.
2. Go to the drop down menu audio, and select convert regions to new sampler track.
3. Click ok and you are done.

Option 2

1. Select your audio file.
2. Press play and chop up your sample using the shortcut for cut by playhead.
3. Select all your regions that you cut.
4. Go to the audio drop down menu and click convert audio regions to new sampler track.
5. Click create zone from regions and click ok.

Option 3

1. Select your audio file.
2. Click you shortcut to forward by transient (if you don't know what key it is hit option K and search in the search bar (search: forward by transient).
3. Hit the shortcut to forward by transient and cut on the transients you would like.
4. Select all your regions that you cut.
5. Click creat zone from regions and click ok.
6. Drag them into the EXS sample editor.
