Minimal Gbox is a sample-based drum instrument created by combining various Ableton plugins/effects and which turns Live into a powerful and extremely flexible groovebox for minimal music productions. The library consists of 150 instrument presets, 30 Live Clips, 30 MIDI loops and 306 worldclass WAV samples organized in 8 drum categories (Kick / Snare / Low Beat / Beats / Glitch / Percussion / Metals / Hhat). Thanks to the included worldclass samples and the meticulously programmed Effect Racks you will be able to create fat, sparkly and modulated minimal sequences in few clicks.

Minimal Gbox is a very intuitive and ultra-flexible groovebox. Simply load one of the Clip presets and try to move the knobs in the Sample Selector section. This feature is the core of Minimal Gbox and allows you to replace in real-time the single samples while the MIDI file is playing your instrument. Each drum part is equipped with its own Source Editor which controls various source parameters : Filter cutoff & resonance, Tune, Pitch attack & envelope, Sample attack & decay, Reverse Sample. The single drum parts are also equipped with soundspecific 'Effect Racks' which drastically increase the sound customization capability.

The included effects are : Square Kick, White Noizer, Low Sculptor, Dual Chorus, Freq Splitter, Metalizer, HP Moving Filter, Hat Exciter. You can access the single 'Source Editors' and 'Effect Racks' simply by clicking the related pads in the 'Part Editor' section. With Micromal Gbox everything takes place in a single screen so you don't need to browse the Drum Rack channels to manipulate the sounds. The customization sections are not linked and it means that the Source & Effect sections will maintain their settings also if you change the samples in the Sample Selector. Minimal Gbox can play also MIDI files created for Live Impulse, you just have to activate the MIDI Adapter switch. Minimal Gbox is the perfect tool for advanced Minimal Music productions with Ableton Live.
