Justin Robertson - Disco Tech
Loopmasters are very proud to present a diverse new sample collection for House, Techno, Disco and Progressive Producers worldwide, Justin Robertson’s "Disco Tech".
Justin Robertson is an eclectic producer of note who has worked in areas as diverse as Dancehall, House and Art pop. Justin is a DJ of international repute; is a creator of bespoke Acid house; a Remixer for the likes of Steve Mason, The Mystery Jets, Bjork, and Felix Da Housecat and is well known for his Lionrock project, Thee Earls, and most recently is enjoying great success and a new generation of admirers with his latest moniker The Deadstock 33s.
Justin's lineage through music has taken many twists and turns. He began as a DJ in Manchester and his early 90s clubs - Spice and Most Excellent - were hugely influential and cornerstones of the burgeoning dance movement. The Chemical Brothers, then students in the city, cited him as their mentor. His Rebellious Jukebox club - also in Manchester - pre-empted the Heavenly Social and the mid 90s trend for mish-mashing musical styles.
For Loopmasters Justin has put together a fresh collection of sounds based on his wide influences and experience, which will work well for many types of producers working in House, Disco and Progressive styles.
"Disco Tech" weighs in at an impressive 660MB and includes 475 24 Bit samples, with 285 Loops between 64 – 130Bpm, and 191 Single Sounds. Also included aere 57 Ready to play patches for Reason NNXT, Halion, Kontakt, EXS and SFZ compatible soft samplers. The package is also available in Apple Loops, Reason Refill and Ableton Live pack formats separately.
In detail Justin Roberston's Disco Tech Royalty free sample collection features 50 Hot and Heavy Bass Loops, 118 Dancefloor tuned Drum Loops (featuring broken down elements), 31 Sensational Drum Fills, 12 Vocal Loops, 34 Guitar Parts, 40 Riff n Pad Loops, 20 Dance SFX samples, 15 Single Bass Tones, 23 Single Instrument Samples, and 130 One Shot Drum Samples, plus 8 pre mapped Drum Kits.

More and more as i get older does Disco become appealing. Ask me 5 years ago and i'd have said 'Disco, don't make me laugh' but now i can get enough of it. The pack is wicked for a nice techy disco crossover bit of action. Really good depth in the loops and some great atmospherics.

A vast range of quality samples from a quality producer with a vast range. Nice to see a wider spectrum of tempos, which means regardless of the music your making there's something here for you. Must have.

Really good pack this with lots of useful top loops, percussion and sounds. Well recorded and easy to find inspiration from. Good work - especially like the clap fx ;)

Impressive selection of loops and samples from Justin - a legend of electronic music. Alongside a plethora of drum hits to keep you busy, i'm impressed with the musical riffs - all neatly arranged by key. There is also a fantastic selection of fills - which can be used in all sorts of styles.

The first thing that strikes you about this sample pack is the eclectic nature of all the content. Justin Robertson is no newcomer and so he has a wide and varied taste. Having a wide and varied taste makes for a very high quality output. Evident in this masterful collection.
From analogue to digital and organic to electronic and back again all the loops have a user friendlyness to them. From squelching techy basses to slap bass guitar and more punkish vibes. Swirling arps and useful guitars. The vocal effects are a nice addition here too.
Good work all round.

Some nice quirky sounds in here, already thrown some bits into a remix we're working on! The bits that worked for us were the musical loops, the drums weren't really right for our tracks, but if you're on the nu disco vibe then this will work a treat! Everything's well labeled and easy to find, and has the punch and clarity you'd expect from such an iconic producer.

I really like the Drums on this pack they have a real dusty sample like quality to them, the perc loops are also really interesting I can imagine i will be reaching for them to add a little funk to my techno, all round a pretty decent pack!

Easily one of my favourite sample packs so far !! The dubby guitar samples are brilliant, drum fills really usable, spot on drum loops , and some really interesting riffs and samples. An overall winner, well done guys !
