After over ten years of playing with some of the biggest urban acts in underground music the jungle drummer takes his unique live approach into the studio for this.

The Jungle Drummer is a unique live performer with ten years of experience playing with the biggest live acts in Turntablism, Hip-Hop, Electronica and Drum and Bass.

Jungle Drummer aka Chris Polglase has performed with groundbreaking live acts including London Elektricity, DJ Fu, Rodney P and Killa-Kela, Breakbeat Pioneers, Coldcut, Techno Hero, A Guy Called Gerald, beat boxers Beardyman and the fabulous Scratch Perverts amongst many others.

Drawing from previous experience working with numerous DJs, Jungle created a unique live project incorporating multiple styles and genres.  From its humble beginnings, the show evolved to new heights of live performance, combining the best assets of both artists for a totally unique musical experience. 

"Live Urban Drums" is a cool collection of grooves which cover many genres including Hip Hop, Dubstep, Breaks, Down tempo, Break beat and of course Live Drum and Bass. Jungle Drummer recorded the pack in several days using several kits and busted out all his favorite grooves which modern producers will find invaluable to add realism and dynamics to tracks which could benefit from a live feel.

Including sections of breaks which resemble some of the old funk loops, Dubstep patterns, Hip Hop breaks and full on DnB – this is a complete collection of Live breaks for modern Urban producers. Included are sections of post effected and Eq’d breaks, cut and chopped into new patterns and there are also lots of one shots and top loops to add live groove to your programmed parts.

The Jungle Drummer Live Urban Drum Sample Collection weighs in at a mighty 1.2GB and is recorded at 24Bits. Included you get 700 Samples which comprise 567 Loops between 90 – 180 Bpm, and 132 Single shot Drum Samples. Included are 12 Ready to play patches for Reason NNXt, Halion, EXS and SFZ compatible soft samplers. Apple Loops, Reason Refill and Ableton Live Versions are available separately.

In detail you can expect to find 60 Live Dubstep Drum Loops, 47 Funk and Broken Beats, 34 Garage and Skippy House Loops, 92 Hip Hop Loops, 34 Top Loops for House Production, 22 Jungle Loops, 40 DnB Drum Loops, 38 Dub1 Remixed Loops, 96 Jungle Break Loops, 19 Militant Junglist Patterns, 23 Rolling DnB Loops, 20 Steppa Loops, 43 Tribal Jungle Patterns, and 132 Single Drum Samples including Kicks, Crashes, Rides, Rimshots, Snares and Toms.

Please Note: When selecting the appropriate download version for your requirements the Zip (Main) format includes Acidised Wav and Rex2 Loops – all single (non looping) sounds and Sampler Patches for Kontakt, Halion, NNXT, EXS24  soft samplers. Reason Refill, Ableton Live Packs and Apple Loops are not included, and must be purchased where available as a separate downloads. Apple Loops packs also include any single hits and EXS patches where applicable.
