This is an amazing collection of disco rhythms. All very well produced, they come with all the stems so you can make your own beats. Also comes with some great 1 shot samples. Essential!

With the current resurgence in the popularity of disco I opened up Disco Drops Multi-Track Vol. 1 with some trepidation. Would I be opening up a world of tight house like drum loops with the odd cowbell. All at one tempo. Luckily not.

In fact I was pleasantly surprised to find some very authentic live drums. In fact they are completely live at several different tempo's with percussion as well. All ready for you to work with. I opened the logic project version. The drums aren't bang in time. You would think that would be a hindrance right? On the contrary, what you actually get is the feel of what you would have had back in the 70's with tempo's moving ever so slightly. If you want it dead straight then it's easy to loop up a bar or chuck the whole thing through flex time. As for now the tempo is mapped.

This product is not for total beginners though. You still have to mix and process the drums to suit your sound. Also, a good thing in my book. If your looking for well recorded, authentic disco drums, this is a great place to start.

Some wicked Disco drum loops in here perfect for dissecting and using in modern day House music. Im sure these will come in very handy for some of my engineering gigs with all this NuDisco movement really picking up pace at the moment.

what a good pack this is,loads of quality disco drums that sound old school and loads of seperate loops,a thoroughly useful selection to add to your drum banks.

Tight drums, with tonnes of character! perfect for use as the main beat or as a backing layer to add a natural element to any computer composition! Was shocked to find all the multi track parts available for download, all recorded through a classic neve and processed beautifully! Will definitely be chopping these up and using them in a variety of different compositions!

These are seriously high quality drum packs, that have obviously been put together with a huge amount of love and attention. They do what they say on the tin, genre wise, but the level of detail and complexity in which the drum stems have been delivered is what really sets these libraries apart. If you're looking to build a great sounding disco record of any style/era then this is a brilliant starting point. But, not just that, with only a certain amount of creativity and a decent pair of virtual scissors, there is a huge amount of resources to be garnered for p[producers of any style.

Disco Drops is a great collection of loops. I found the variety and depth of the sample pack to be quite useful not just for disco but house and techno too. Nice to have so many alt versions.
