LOOPTONE drop “The Boiler” – Dub Tech House, a dubbed-out, banging library of sounds guaranteed to keep the warehouse bumping all night long.
This mesmerising collection of stripped-back tech grooves fuses crisp tops with fat bottoms to light a fire under your hybrid house tracks. Throbbing analogue-style basslines underpin pulsing tech synths, fat chord stabs and uplifting hypnotic keys, and it's all held together by chunky four-to-the-floor kicks, powerful drums, crisp hi-hats and tops, and pulsing almost-tribal percussion loops. For an extra level of authentic grit, there’s even a set of vinyl crackle loops.
Aimed at tech and dub house producers, these samples will also slot effortlessly into other subgenres of house and techno. They're inspired by labels such as Dirty Bird, Viva, Drumcode and Defected, and artists including Guy J, Maceo Plex, Plastikman and Harry Romano, to name but a few.
The pack comprises 382 loops (at 125bpm) and 300 one-shots, and covers all bases, from tight tribal drums and room-shaking bass, to evolving FX and techy synths. It's rounded off with 15 sampler patches and 6 Song Starter kits built on 54 loops – plenty to get the creative juices flowing. Source instrumentation includes the Moog Phatty, Korg MS20 and the Virus Ti synths, all recorded using prestigious outboard by SSL, Avalon and Manley, and various UAD Plugins.
In full, The Boiler – Dub Tech House contains 683 stereo 24-bit/44.1kHz Wav files, weighing in at 1.46GB.
Including the song kits, you get 30 mixed drum loops, 46 hi-hat loops, 36 percussion loops, 36 shaker loops, 30 top loops, 36 vinyl noise loops, 108 Synth loops and 56 bass loops. The 300 one-shots consist of 20 bass shots, 170 drums, 80 FX and 30 synth hits. 67 Soft Sampler Patches for EXS24, Halion, Kontakt, NNXT & SFZ are also included (separate patches for drums, basses, synths and FX), as well as 300 REX files (328Mb).
The Live song starters, Rex loops and One shots are all available to purchase separately.
This Pack is a myriad of tech inspired house sounds, something to consider if you’re a producer of tech house, techno, dub house or deep house tracks and want to get to the bottom of that fat hypnotic sound.
