No outside sounds - just your creativity, rhythm, and drive.

 

Submit your track between May 9th and June 9th for a shot at winning a plugin prize pool worth over $1,000 and major exposure from Hugel, and his label Make The Girls Dance, the official judges of the competition.

Judging Criteria

 

This competition isn’t just about making a track. It’s about real exposure. Your song will be judged by Hugel's team at Make The Girls Dance, giving you a unique opportunity to get your music in front of some of the most influential tastemakers in Afro House and beyond.

 

 

Creativity

 

We’re looking for producers who bring something fresh to the table. Surprise us with unexpected flips, clever arrangements, and unique sound design while staying true to the Afro House spirit.

 

 

Theme and Genre Fit

 

Your track should clearly capture the essence of Afro House: uplifting energy, hypnotic percussion, and summer vibes are key. Think sunset dance floors and soulful rhythms.

 

 

Mix and Production Quality

 

While this isn’t a mixing contest, your track should still sound clean and polished. Make sure your elements work together and that the mix supports the vibe of the song.

 

 

Use of the Sample Pack

 

All entries must use only the provided samples. Show us how creatively you can chop, transform, and reimagine them into something completely your own.

 

 

 

How to Enter & Participate

 

 

Register and Download the Sample Pack

 

• Sign up for the competition HERE. Once registered, you’ll gain access to an exclusive Afro House sample pack

 

• All submissions must be created using only the samples provided

 

Produce Your Track

 

• Use your DAW of choice to produce an original Afro House track

 

• Get creative with arrangement, processing, and composition, but do not use any external samples, loops, or instruments

 

Track Requirements

 

• Your final track must be between 1:00 and 3:00 minutes in length. Tracks outside this range will not be eligible for judging.

 

Submit Your Entry

 

• Upload your finished track in MP3 or WAV format to the LabelRadar contest page between May 9th and June 9th.

 

• By submitting, you agree to allow Loopcloud to share your track for promotional purposes.

 

 

 

Winner Announcement 

 

Submissions close on June 9th and the judging will begin immediately after. Hugel's team at Make The Girls Dance will review all eligible entries and select the standout tracks based on the judging criteria.

 

The winners will be officially announced on June 30th across Loopcloud’s website, email newsletter, and social media channels. Keep an eye on your inbox and our feeds!
