This is definitely something out of the ordinary. Its not going to be for everyone but those who want it will love it. Everything you would want or need to produce authentic old school 80's sounding funk is here. Whether is the Gap Band, Prince, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Cameo, Kool & The Gang, Dazz Band, etc- its here. From the drum sounds and patterns to the instrumentation, there's so much to chose from and get inspiration from. You can start quickly and effortlessly with the "master sections". These are all the parts broken into sections. You can also get sections broken down into stems, which can be used to further work into whatever you want or just to get deeper into each track. This set is for the adventurous and very cool !

Surprisingly fresh samples and body-twitching Funk in this pack coupled with absolutely forward-thinking formatting: In addition to the played / phrased / audio content every part of every element is also chopped into individual samples. Further still: within Kontakt 5 (via the RiffMatic instrument files) additional sound control and timestretch are possible adding whole new dimensions of flex potential. Tons of quality elements that can easily be reshuffled into whatever music deck you're dealing and there's a level of authenticity here that absolutely shouldn't be taken for granted earning Minneapolis Funk a solid place in my library.

This pack is so awesome. A huge array of sounds, tracks, hits, and all broken down into so many parts too. Taking apart the inspiration packs and rebuilding from scratch was a lot of fun!

The Minneapolis Funk sample pack provides a whole selection of funktastic beats, basses and sounds to help bring your track to life. Whether it's some funky guitar or slapping bass hits this pack has it all. Love it!

First of all, the musicianship on this collection is outstanding and when you add that to the flexibility of the included Kontakt instrument then you have a perfect product. There's loads of versatility within the content - covering guitars, keys, basses and more, so there's lots of fun to be had re-grooving the parts or mixing and matching them. It's nice to see a pack in this genre done well, and it's really not a surprise that F9 have nailed it once again. Highly recommended for house, nu-disco or pretty much any genre that needs a bit of funk.
