San Diego based hip-hop producer Freddic Joachim makes his soundware debut with this 1.49GB sample library, which makes up for its modest file count (163 loops and 197 one-shots) by running its loops out to eight bars in length. The beats are solid and well produced, but a bit repetitive in places, and most of the 'live' drums are clearly sampled. It's with the basses (mostly electric), guitars and keys that Jazz Hop Classics really finds its groove, serving up a tasty collection of laid-back licks and lines that really get the creative juices bubbling.
