This sample pack from Loopmasters draws inspiration from traditional jazz albums that were popular in the 1930-1940s under the Blue Note Records label. Based on sources such as double bass, live drums, pianos and saxophones, Jazz Notes is an authentic, fine collection of samples that were performed by serious jazz cats on the circuit today. You’ll find nineteen song construction kits with tempos ranging from 70-160 BPM. Download size is quite enormous at 5.55 GB, but inside you’ll find 1,225 WAV loops that are crystal clear 24-bit. Each construction kit is labeled with title, tempo and key info for easy referencing. Inside each folder you’ll find multiple stems such as intros, head, chord beds, solos, etc. required to construct, reconstruct or remix set of tracks. In terms of the quality and the recording of the samples, it is quite impressive that they sound old and traditional. The pianos really have that undeniable Blue Note vibe and the same thing can be said to the saxophones – very spot-on! A good number of live drums are very useful for layering with other drum loops for breaks, house, hip hop and funk productions. Nicely delivered, Loopmasters!
