Fans of that smoked out, late 90s, horozontal approach to production will be fiending to spark up the samples on Loopmasters' latest trip hop pack. Expect a fat stack of crusty drums, moody melodies, and dubby grooves, in this 2.24GB set, inspired by that Bristol-based beathead sound. This collection has been blended up by prolific Canadian, Dubmatix, with help from turntablist, Ilorn, who brings the deft cuts that zig and zag through this dope selection of loops and licks. Think Massive Attack and Portishead at their most hip-hop heavy and cinematically minded, and you'll get a sense of the flavours here. A good resource for experimental and funky downtempo producers.
