The follow-up to Classic Deep House (9/10 cm258) once again avoids coming across as cheesy in its wholly successful evocation of 80s/90s East Coast club music. It also repeats the melodically-weighed instrumental distribution, with just 21 stemmed drum loops, but over 400 piano, organ, synth, pad, top and bass loops, and 377 one-shots. The beats swing, the basslines bounce, the keys uplift, and it's testament to the creativity of the producers that they've managed to make such an 'old' genre sound so fresh. No MIDI files this time, though, strangely.
