Loopmasters continues to offer siblings to its Psytrance Intelligence and Psytrance Pulse packs – something to please fans of the genre. This time around, the tempo is a little slower than on previous volumes (138 BPM versus 145). These 1.64 gigabytes offer new foundations for the psytrance genre, with hypnotic bass, energetic and tapered sequences, and rhythmic patterns that are slamming and overpowering. The melodies are a bit commercial, close to a full-on caricature, but on the instruments front, you get a collection of multisamples consisting of 22 basses and distinctive synthesizers. When all is said and done, Psytrance Nation is a library decent but without much surprise or original flavour.
