This 1.5 GB, 24-bit library from Singomakers is a collection of Asian-inspired samples that includes indigenous instruments, drum and a variety of Asian-laced melodies. Asian Seeds includes music, atmospheric, bass, vocal, percussion and drum loops, 80 effect sounds, 101 MIDI files and 150 one-shots. There are also Rex2 files and nine sampler patches (including five drum kits and four FX kits) in the package. All loops are tagged with key and tempo information for easy sorting and browsing. The Music Loop folder houses everything from kalimba to flutes and koto to strings. This is where Asian Seeds shines. The drum loops have that electronica, hip hop-ish feel. So I’m guessing that this pack will work in ethno-tronica genre, also – given that it’s primarily geared for deep house, trap, future bass and hip hop. For its amount of content and style, I would recommend it.
