Sample pack propositions don't come much more simple than that of Voltage, which consists of 75 hard-hitting bass loops "directly from the UK bass house scene". Each loop rolls along for four bars at 125 or 128bpm, and while their head-splitting multiband work-outs certainly get a tad predictable when listened to in succession, the programming and sound design on display are first rate, and there's nothing here that couldn't easily serve as the springboard for a full beat or track.
