Abstract Sounds brings us a condensed but well formed set of tools with their latest pack. Its both loop and one shot based but for us its the glitch laden drums and textures that really stand out. It’s very much on the deeper more underground end of minimal house spectrum so more Villalobos vibes than PIV etc. The Ableton version is also interesting with pre-programmed drum racks and midi files playing it rack for ready made drum tracks. At just under 200MB its quite small but the price reflects that, and those percussion and texture loops are worth the price tag alone. It would have been nice to have some more glitch one shots included but over-all we really enjoyed this pack.
