Organic Loops proudly presents Sol y Sombra - Latin Guitars. Sol y Sombra is an internationally recognised phrase meaning “sun and shade”, or “light and dark”, and is best known as the name of a cocktail containing brandy and anise.

Here, the name refers to the contrast and interplay between two types of acoustic guitar: Classical and Steel String. These contrasting sounds complement each other throughout the collection, bringing together eclectic interpretations of Latin styles alongside influences from Pop, Rock and Blues. For example, a Brazilian-style Classical Guitar vamp may be accompanied by soulful Steel String chops, creating a distinctive blend of textures and styles.

This contrast is further enhanced through light and dark, major and minor passages, with connecting loops that can be combined to build full arrangements. There are also distinctive standalone loops that work perfectly as foundation grooves.

In detail, you’ll find 103 MB of 24-bit 44.1 kHz WAVs - 32 Nylon Classical Guitar Loops and 22 Acoustic Guitar Loops.

All in all, Sol y Sombra is an unusual and versatile loop collection, providing contrasting guitar styles and grooves that can be mixed together into a modern sound cocktail.
