Castro

Our first selection glides in with unwavering confidence. Live drums and shakers establish a nimble pulse while electric guitar threads delicate motifs through saxophone and trumpet exchanges. Beneath it all, synthesizers ripple gently across the arrangement, adding flashes of colour without stealing the spotlight. It's buoyant, quick-witted and endlessly rewarding. 

Clement

Now we drift towards Clement, where a weathered lo-fi piano opens the door before the rhythm section settles into an easy, unforced stride. Brass phrases bloom and dissolve with effortless grace as restrained synthesizers soften the edges of the performance. It's reflective without becoming melancholy, intimate without ever feeling fragile.

Mount Joy

Mount Joy carries its own quiet confidence. Electric keyboard voicings spread wide across the stereo field while live drums push and pull with natural elasticity. Saxophone and trumpet circle one another with patient restraint, allowing every melody to unfold at its own pace as shimmering synth textures illuminate the spaces in between. 

Richmond

To close tonight's programme, Richmond delivers a beautifully measured performance built around electric keys, melodic bass and expressive guitar. The horn arrangements arrive with burnished warmth, weaving effortlessly through the ensemble and leaving behind melodies that linger long after the final note has disappeared.
