We are very proud to present the second instalment of Anatolian Cura - a collection of traditional cura melodies that have been professionally played, recorded, and packaged to ensure you receive authentic live recordings, direct to your projects.
About the instrument:
The cura is a nomadic folk instrument. The instrument itself is 55-60cm in length and is the smallest instrument in the bağlama family. It typically comes in six, five, four, or three string variations. There are also two-wire bolts - the lower wire is tuned to "la" and the upper wire to "re". The depths of the cura and its chest width are around 15cm, with stem lengths up to 40cm. The cura is played with a plectrum or by tapping the strings with a finger, similar to a guitar.
About the pack:
In detail, expect to find 482 MB of raw content featuring 90 beautifully played cura loops at 90, 110, and 130 BPM - dry and wet versions are provided for each loop, giving a total of 180 files within this collection.
