  • Vocals With Attitude

    Rating: 8/10

Tried this on a whim and glad I did because I've already used the vocals in like 3 tunes as guide/reference vocals. For that purpose this is a goldmine, but there's a lot here that would work as the final vocal for a track as well. Great recording, tight fx and good performances from the artists. Good stuff.

Some absolutely cracking loops in here, and a lovely smattering of crispy one shots as well. If you're after the vibe in a hurry, these have got the swing and the shuffle in spades. They're great for dropping on your drums to instantly get the jack going.

    Miami Rap Acapellas

    Rating: 9/10

Excellent set of very well recorded vocals. Have found multiple phrases that just worked straightaway when dropped into a track with very little editing needed. The styles also bridge kind of a more old school rappety vibe with more current trap/edm vibes which is kind of refreshing. All in all it's an extremely useful collection and I've rinsed about 5 tunes out of it already!

Monster Sounds continue to deliver the goods on the vocal front. There are a lot of acapella pacs out there these days that either aren't well recorded enough or just didn't get good performances out of their artists - not the case with Monster Sounds. All the vocals are excellently engineered and delivered to the utmost quality, well written and ready to drop straight into a track. Yet another Monster Sounds pack that I've absolutely rinsed.

    Dark Nu Wave Disco

    Rating: 8/10

Amazing vibes on this one! This pack is full to the brim of retro but also totally current synth riffs and drum loops. If you're after that timeless sound that you hear and aren't sure if it's 30 years old or brand new, then this is great place to start. There's spacey, washed out atmospheric vibes as well as crunchy little basslines and those big gated snares you've always wanted.

    Indian Emotions

    Rating: 8/10

Already used things from this pack in like 4 tracks... All the melodies are super well-played and recorded and immediately usable, really great collection here! The flutes in particular are pretty stunning.

    Dub & Reggae Sirens

    Rating: 9/10

Love this pack! It's a very simple concept delivered extremely well. Something I've always looked for is authentic sounding dub sirens - and they've always been harder to find than you might think. This pack has them in spades, in both dry and wet versions so you've got total control over how they sound and fit into your mix. There are also some really weird, creative ones that sound like nothing I've ever heard before. Can't recommend this pack enough, it's perfect for anyone looking for that old school dancehall, sound system vibe to inject into their tracks.
