An artist synonymous with Drum and Bass, Ed Rush has become a byword for cutting edge, forward thinking beats. One of the pioneers of Techstep, alongside Optical he created an album universally recognized as changing the landscape of Drum and Bass forever with the legendary ‘Wormhole’ on Virus Recordings. Still regarded as one of the main catalysts for the Neuro and Techstep sound, ‘Wormhole’ paved the way for household names such as Noisia, Black Sun Empire, Bad Company and many more. Since then Ed Rush has released a plethora of genre-defining tracks and albums, both solo, alongside his partner in crime Optical and since 2017 with Audio as 'Killbox', signed exlcusively to Andy C's genre leading RAM Records label. Consistently busy in the studio and Djing across the world, Ed Rush continues to be as vital and influential within Drum & Bass as ever.

  • Nais Neurofunk Serum 2

    Rating: 9/10

Amazing pack here from Nais not only filled with brilliant presets for serum but comes with wavs of beat loops, drum hits, bass stabs and other very useful samples which are very handy when you're in the creative process of writing and want to keep the vibe flowing. The production quality is top notch on these sounds and they offer a brilliant starting point for you to dial in your own flavour and are great for quickly getting ideas down when in the writing process. Its also fantastic to reverse engineer some of these patches to get knowledgeable about synthesis and be able to create your own from the techniques highlighted in this pack.

    NAIS Neurofunk Serum

    Rating: 8/10

The sounds in this are great and are of a very high standard with modern production the main focus here. There are some useful kicks and snares included in the pack but what really makes this pack special is the serum presets. They are excellent as a source of inspiration when adding synthesis to your projects.
