The first volume of this dope downtempo sample series had two happy cosmonauts sat on the cover. Now there’s only one. Let’s hope they just popped out for some space milk and are coming right back… While you wait, tinker with these silky, soulful riffs and loops — gracefully tinkled keys, delicately plucked strings, and softly programmed drums. It makes for melancholy, reflective fare. But it should get heads nodding as you build up your beats too.
