  • Another class selection from Audio Injection. As I mentioned in a previous review, I've been digging up some of his older stuff since I was using his 'Techno Tools' pack quite a lot. Really useful pack for building strong techno rhythms.

Always big stuff from Audio Injection - I've been digging back into his older stuff to find some gems from the past and he doesn't disappoint. Really good to see his older minimal vibes here. Strong pack all round.

Another good one by RV... Again categorised nicely depending on what you need. Great pack, and really no complaints here, would definitely recommend, and I'm looking forward to the next instalment. Thanks guys!

    Designer Dance Kicks

    Rating: 9/10

I've been on the hunt for some new kicks (after using and abusing my current sample library) and this pack has definitely proved to be very useful. Nicely categorised into 4 sections, and the analog kicks are particularly good for me. Great pack by RV.

I've been trying to play around with some different/experimental sounds lately, and this pack has been really useful. The tabla is definitely a very unique sound and this pack really has a lot of good and well recorded samples. Will definitely be using the pack a lot this year.

    Ambient Waves

    Rating: 8/10

Really useful for adding texture, a really nice collection of sounds. I've been doing a lot more musical/melodic/ambient tracks lately, so this has come in really handy. I look forward to the next pack :)

    Weird Little One Shots

    Rating: 9/10

This is just really useful for adding textures to my mix - nice little weird sounds that really give tracks an over good feel to them. Love the Squiggles in particular. Would definitely recommend it!

    Tekno Tool Box

    Rating: 8/10

I've been working on some darker/harder techno lately and definitely found this pack to be of some use specifically in those productions. DTD is very well known for having a raw/heavy sound and this definitely translates to the sample pack. The drum loops are incredibly useful.

Love Audio Injection, love truncate... Love his samples. Not really much to say about this, apart from it's been really useful in my productions lately - in particular, some nice kick samples, and interesting hi hat patterns. Great pack all round. Can't recommend it enough.

I've been a long time follower of Steve Mac throughout his various guises, so it's great to have a sample pack from the man himself. The drum loops are great and the whole pack has definitely been useful in my sample library. Top stuff!

    Piatto Italo Techno

    Rating: 9/10

On the techno side of things, this is a really credible pack of well put together sounds. Not much to fault really, and for me, it's something that I've been using a fair bit in my tracks. Thanks guys, please keep the quality coming!

With Steve Lawler, it's gotta be all about the drums, and really that's the best feature of this pack for me. Nice selection of moody drums and driving percussion. Very useful tool.

Lots of really interesting stuff here - I actually found the FX really good and varied. Definitely something that's come in handy recently. Drum loops are nice and varied in BPM too. Overall a really good pack.

I've been using this pack for the more raw/tougher techno that I've been writing recently and it's proven very useful. Am a big fan of Axel's sound so it's nice to get hold of his sample pack.

Been playing around with this today and I really like this pack. Good collection of all round percussion, bass, melody and FX. Can't really fault it, I love Sante's music and it's good to see him put out a loopmasters pack. Fully recommended.

Definitely good for the deeper side of house - really nice selection of pads, basslines, keys, and drums. Credit to Terry here for making a a really nice pack. I've been following his work for a while, so it's good to see it all laid out and dissected.

    Drumcodes Vol. 2

    Rating: 7/10

Good selection here - the perc loops have been most useful for me. Some great sounds in there that I can pick out, chop up, and use in my tracks. And a few free samples thrown in from Inspire Audio too. Can't complain!

    Nu Skool Afro Tech 3

    Rating: 7/10

This is not necessarily the sort of thing I'd go for, but thought there would be interesting elements in the pack. The perc elements are very rich sounding. For me, it's more of a case of chopping them up a lot and using a lot of effects/pitch to give them my own sound and get something unique out of the samples.

    Club Techno

    Rating: 7/10

Lot's of nice baselines/drum loops. Quite a varied selection of bass tones too, which is great for sampling and chopping up into your tracks. The synth stuff wasn't really grabbing me so much, but there's some good weird sounds in there. Decent pack overall, and a nice addition to my collection.

A big fan of Glimpse's stuff, so great to see his sample pack on here... Have been using the loops for a couple of weeks now. Can't really fault it... Have been using the perc loops a fair bit, but my favourite is probably the music loops folder. Lots of different stuff in there to suit a variety of moods. Top work.

  • Some really interesting sounds here and I would go as far as saying that the drum loops are incredible on this... Wicked drum machine sounds. Add into this some really nice kick and percussion loops, and the twisted sounds in the melodies folder make this a really good all round package. Great sample pack for the darker/more twisted sounds. Brilliant stuff.

What can you say about this really, the basslines are what it's all about and it delivers for sure. The bonus loops come in handy too, but the basslines are where it's at. Very useful tools.

Love the music from Santos so this was an obvious choice for me, and it didn't disappoint... I guess my favourite parts were the music loops. Some really nice twisted sounds in there to re-sample and work into my tracks. Good pack overall, would recommend.

For me, the 'no kick loops' are really good in this pack. Well put together percussion, which is great for slicing up and making beats. Some interesting twisted synth sounds too. Nice pack, overall, and will definitely look out for their next instalment.
