Rhythm Paints brings to you the distinct and raw rhythms of the incredible tama talking drum. Opening up a whole new world of percussive colours to add depth to your tracks.

Performed by Abdouraheman Tilala who hails from Dakar, Senegal. He gave us a crash course on the various rhythms and dialogues that could be created from this small drum with a HUGE sound. Abdou has played the tama since his youth and it has been in his family for many generations. This drum is notably recognised from a memorable sound design element heard within the movie score for Black Panther.

Check out the whole pack for a supreme palette of percussive sonics. Plus, keep an eye out for more from Rhythm Paints!
