Lush chord sequences, creamy leads and punchy licks in a retro adventure back to the era of synth funk, New Wave and 80s classics. Inspired as much by Prince and Nile Rodgers as Joy Division and The Edge, this genre spanning collection of rousing melodies, palmed riffs and 4/4 rhythms has been painstakingly played and recorded with a vintage Fender American Stratocaster and Paul Reed Smith S2 Mira into the exquisite Fender Blues Junior and Marshall amplifiers.
No expense was spared as a Neumann TLM 107 and Rode NT1-A mics recorded a pristine chain of Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer and Moog MF Delay pedals straight into an iconic Universal Audio 6176 Channel Strip in combination with vintage Focusrite preamp. Across 110 - 120 BPM expect processed and dry electric and acoustic strums, licks, trills and more in a range of idiomatic keys bursting with musical potential.
